Overview

A blood service facility duly authorized by the Department of Health (DOH) Center for Health Development (CHD) pursuant to A.O. 101-A s. 2003 with the following service capabilities:

• Provision of while blood and packed red cells;
• Storage, issuance of whole blood and packed red cells;
• Compatibility testing of red cell units, if hospital-based.
