This groundbreaking procedure was led by Dr. Jerold Justo, Neurosurgeon, with the expertise and support of our dedicated skull base team from Manila—Dr. Peter Jarin and Dr. Gia Sucgang (Rhinology).

The endoscopic transsphenoidal approach, known for its minimally invasive technique, allows for precise removal of pituitary tumors through the nose, significantly reducing recovery time and risks compared to traditional methods. The successful execution of this technique underscores the growing capability of local healthcare providers to offer advanced neurosurgical care to the community.
